How to draw with the AI whiteboard

From a sentence or a photo to a diagram you can edit, in a few clicks.

  1. Open the AI menu

    On the canvas, open AI and diagram tools and choose Prompt to Diagram or Image to Diagram.

  2. Describe or upload

    Type what you want to see, or attach a photo of a whiteboard or a paper sketch with an optional note.

  3. Edit the result

    The draft lands as real shapes and arrows. Move them by hand, or use Edit with AI to change many things at once.

  4. Explain and share

    Ask Explain Diagram for a written walkthrough, then share a link or export as PNG, SVG or PDF.

Is the AI free to use?
Every plan includes a few free AI requests. After that you can add your own API key from a supported provider in AI Settings and keep going. Pro adds more AI requests.
Can I edit what the AI draws?
Yes. AI results are regular shapes, text and arrows on your canvas, not a flat picture. Move, restyle or delete anything, by hand or with Edit with AI.
Can it turn a photo into a diagram?
Yes. Image to Diagram takes a photo or screenshot, for example of a whiteboard or a paper sketch, and rebuilds it as an editable diagram. You can add a note such as "as a flowchart".
Can the AI explain an existing diagram?
Yes. Explain Diagram reads the shapes and connections on your board and writes a plain-language explanation, with a Markdown version you can copy into docs.
